The media is a vital tool for inspiring collective action. When you feel an individual, issue or piece of legislation deserves widespread attention and support, become your own Oprah and tell the world about it! Whether it's on community radio or in a letter to the editor — invite your community to move from concern to action and then OFFER an ACTION that everyone can take collectively. Be sure to alert your MP, the CEO of XYZ Company and the mayor of your town to your public action. They will be thrilled to know who's Acting Up in their neighbourhood. Yes! Thrilled!!!
